What's improved

• Transcription engine picker — pick on-device or server-side engines from one streamlined list in Settings → Recording.
• Sign-in sizes the window correctly on first install and no longer shifts when leaving fullscreen.
• Player keeps your selected playback rate after Stop → Play.
• Menu bar "Show recordings" reliably opens the Notes list.
• Recordings list pagination resets cleanly when a recording starts.
• Ask AI & Note Taker drafts are preserved when you collapse the window.

Under the Hood

• AI Copilot hang cluster fixed.
• Apple Speech falls back gracefully to English when the saved language isn't covered by the installed model.
